Sofie Joye
Sofie Joye has a backgound in performing arts and works on field development and practice support at Kunstenpunt/Flanders Arts Institute, the Institute for the development of music, visual arts and performing arts in Flanders and Brussels.
Her projects focus on diverse aspects of the arts ecosystem in Flanders, Brussels and beyond. She has a specific interest in arts and urban development, participatory arts, fair practices, intersectionality and emerging artists. Within these topics, she works on R&D-projects and the development of support tools for the arts. She is also a member and coach of TransfoCollect – a performing arts platform focusing on the empowerment and artistic development of often excluded voices in the arts.
