Karla Crnčević

Karla Crncevic, was born in Dubrovnik 1989. After Classical Gymnasium she attended Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Academy for Drama Art in Zagreb. Now she holds MA in Dramaturgy and BA in Comparative Literature. She was working as a writer and dramaturge for different theaters and art productions, also she worked as Assistant Director and Production Cooridinator on more then 15 movies.

Three years ago she initiated small festival happening in Cavtat, near Dubrovnik. Festival which engages audience by accident by occupying public spaces with screens and images. It was called Gerrila Cinema, but now Festival is called Unseen Cavtat. She thinks it's important to bring different contents in small places that don't have any real program and make that content be part of community. She is also developing her first long documentary movie about resistance possibilities of different kind of communities which was supported by Croatian Audiovisual Centar.
