Kamila Wolszczak de Loo
Currently based in Amsterdam and Wrocław. Born on April 7, 1988, in Chełm, Poland with BFA degree in Painting from Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin and with MFA degree in Fine Arts Education/Art Mediation with the specialization: curator of exhibitions and performance art.
Working as an multidisciplinary artist and art mediator and cultural project manager. Creates projects about relations between the viewer, artist and space with performance art, installations and drawings. Founder and organizer of collective artist-run exhibitions in independent spaces: Universal Self-Supporting Exhibitions. Also active in the performance art duo ‘PARAperformance’ and their audience development program "Key to performance". Interested in the relation between the artist and the audience in site-specific situations. As a part of European Capital of Culture 2016 in Wrocław she founded Pracownia Komuny Paryskiej 45, where she conducted creative studio with the youngest neighbours form Przedmieście Oławskie in Wrocław. She organises “Shifting”, i.e. urban walks on periphery areas, as well as art galleries for children in small uninhabited spaces called mini-SUWs. Crurrently works about new project focused about dust-human migration.
