A Tarot deck to Reshape the Arts: ARRN_Art Residency Research Network
The Tarot deck, a part of the prototype developed within the Transnational/Postnational Artistic Practices trajectory, has been tested in the frame of the ARRN.
The Tarot deck, a part of the prototype developed within the Transnational/Postnational Artistic Practices trajectory, has been tested in the frame of the ARRN, a newly established group of international producers, managers, curators, artists and researchers. During four sessions held in April and May the team has learned how to read ‘a tarot deck to reshape the arts’ in practice, to interpret its meaning and analyse its visual components. A special focus has been given to the ritual associated with The Mirror.
The tarot deck represents the Archetypes, and is developed as a tool to ask questions about one’s artistic practices or organisation, or to look at one’s work from a different perspective. The main focus of this practice is mobility and its repercussions in the contemporary world, especially in the context of the COVID crisis.
